Psychology Undergraduate Mentoring Program

I founded and direct the Psychology Undergraduate Mentoring Program, which aims to increase community and belonging for psychology undergraduates who are members of underrepresented groups and transfer students. This program matches psychology faculty, grad students, advanced undergrads, and alumni with undergraduate psychology majors or prospective majors. We prioritize mentees who identify with an underrepresented group, such as people of color, first-generation college students, people who belong to the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and more. We also mentor transfer students, who may be more uncertain of their place in the UW community.
