I’m a psychological scientist and educator who is passionate about pushing back against hustle culture and overwork, particularly among working moms, by tapping into the science of well-being. I write about motherhood, work/life balance, identity, and happiness.
I took a break from paid work this year to rethink what it means to live well in a world that glorifies busyness and hands mothers an impossible load to carry. I write about what led to this decision, what I’ve learned from it, and how modern moms can work toward creating a life that feels sweet, joyful, and aligned with their deepest values.
My writing blends science, storytelling, and systems thinking to explore the deep-rooted pressures working mothers face and how we might reimagine ambition, rest, and worth beyond the to-do list.
Topics my work explores
- Motherhood and identity shifts
- Authenticity and knowing ourselves
- Reclaiming time and rest
- Embodied wisdom, presence, and slower living
- Nature and well-being
- Cultural narratives of success and productivity
- Parenting, caregiving, and meaning-making in modern life
- Boundaries, self-compassion, and values-aligned living
